Boston University invites applications for a faculty position at therank of non-tenure track Professor of the Practice in the FinanceDepartment in the Questrom School of Business. The anticipated startdate for this position is July 1, 2026. Professor of the Practiceappointments are reserved for distinguished practitioners in theirprofession who seek a transition to teaching or service leadership thatadvances the University and School. The Questrom School of Business islooking for thought leaders who will help transform our financecurriculum to remain relevant and competitive in the new economy. Weseek individuals with high-level world-class expertise in finance andthe ability to translate this experience into our degree programs, andacademic initiatives. We seek distinguished finance practitioners whocan contribute to one or more growth areas at Questrom within thediscipline of Finance: Leadership to run action-based learninginitiatives with industry partners. Leadership to establish industry andalumni relationships in support of careers and strategic initiatives atQuestrom. Capability in developing courses in areas of interest such asQuantitative Finance, Real Estate and Wealth Management. Salary will becompetitive [by University standards] and commensurate withexperience. The salary range for Professors of the Practice at theQuestrom School of Business is $200,000 - $225,400. Required SkillsProspective candidates should have a recent record of senior financeroles in industry. A graduate degree is required, with an MBA, MSc, orPhD being preferred.
