Job Details Description A Sun Valley Resort Housekeeper plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests by maintaining clean, sanitary, and well-presented guest rooms and public spaces. This position ensures that each guest enjoys a “home-away-from-home” experience through attention to detail, consistency, and pride in high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide daily housekeeping services for hotel rooms and condominiums, including making beds, changing linens, emptying trash, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and thoroughly cleaning bathrooms Perform turndown service as assigned to enhance the guest experience Clean and maintain public and communal areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment Collect, sort, and transport linens according to established procedures Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping closets and supply areas Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly Follow all housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and sanitation procedures Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations Qualifications: Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction Ability to work independently and as part of a team Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
