Receive, tag, rotate, and properly store delivered merchandise, ensuring compliance with health code standards and University Housing and Dining policies. Ensure proper labeling and storage of products, follow first in first out (FIFO) guidelines. This process involves verifying expiration dates, product quality, and inspecting for potential damage. Distribute merchandise to internal locations operating pallet jackswhen necessary. Assist in inventory as assigned to complete purchasing requirements.Maintain proper cleaning sanitation standards in the work area including freezers and coolers. Maintaincleanliness of the municate professionally and effectively with staff, supervisory staff, and/or customers. Maintaincurrent knowledge of all areas of responsibility. Provide excellent customer service.Adhere to written and oral University and UHD policies such as time and attendance and UHD / UTtrainings and compliance. Complete and maintain required food safety training, including Texas FoodHandler Safety. Follow work safety guidelines and utilize proper PPE as needed. Other duties as assigned.
