This Opportunity WSP is looking for a Vice President, Environmental Remediation Engineer for our California offices (Oakland, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, Petaluma, San Jose, Fresno, Costa Mesa, and San Diego) with experience in consulting, selling, managing, designing and implementing Environmental Multi-media Remediation programs for a variety of clients in the Industrial, Government, Energy, Oil & Gas and Transportation sectors. We are looking for a candidate who is excited and motivated about the opportunity to help expand our environmental consulting business in California and the West. WSPu2019s Oakland office provides a broad range of services in engineering and environmental sciences including environmental assessment and remediation, water/wastewater engineering, water resources, environmental compliance, geotechnical design, stormwater infrastructure design, materials testing, and decision analysis. Your Impact u2022 Perform Business Development within the Oil & Gas and Industrial/Commercial Sectors for environmental remediation, engineering and related services u2022 Perform design, oversight, mentorship and direct the efforts of staff- and project-level engineers u2022 Assist preparation of technical reports and proposals u2022 Successfully interact with Service Line Leader, Sector Lead, other Principal and Senior-level employees in the office and firm-wide u2022 Manage multiple projects, being responsible for ensuring that deliverables, schedules and budgets are achieved u2022 Travel to project(s) as needed, for the execution of project goals and business development u2022 Meet sales, revenue and delivery goals Who You Are Required Qualifications u2022 BS in Civil, Chemical, Environmental or related Engineering field u2022 California (Civil) Professional Engineeru2019s License u2022 12+ years related environmental remediation and sales experience u2022 Strong work ethic u2022 Strong Project Management Experience u2022 Must be a self-starter, team oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills u2022 Previous experience working with remediation/assessment projects involving the Regional Quality Water Quality Control Board, DTSC and/or one of the local CUPAs u2022 Ability to work with, mentor, and direct engineers and technicians u2022 Candidate should have experience with CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, Water Board and other CalEPA Programs u2022 Must have consulting experience with petroleum contamination cleanups in soil and groundwater including free floating products (LNAPL) AND/OR must have chlorinated solvent contamination consulting experience for remediation of soil and groundwater u2022 Must have consulting experience in soil gas and vapor intrusion issues u2022 Developing and managing complex engineering design and design-build projects u2022 Oversee remedy construction and operation and maintenance of environmental project work u2022 Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a valid driveru2019s license and satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Companyu2019s driving (Motor Vehicle Safety) policy Preferred Qualifications u2022 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred. u2022 Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired. Compensation Expected Salary (California): $180,000-$270,000 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicantu2019s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
