Our transportation projects include traditional design-bid-build projects as well as alternative delivery such as Design-Build (DB), Progress Design-Build (PDB), Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR), and Public-Private-Partnership (P3) projects. As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will lead bridge projects of various size and complexity with a particular focus on precast segmental and complex bridges. With the support of Jacobs, youu2019ll have the option to grow further in your career and contribute to the engineering community through participation in regioThis position can be done from almost any of our Western US offices including Bellevue, WA, Seattle, WA, Boise, ID, Portland, OR Denver, CO, Irvine, CA, Sacramento, CA and more. u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Civil Engineeringu2022 Washington PE registration or the possibility of obtaining Washington PE registration within one yearu2022 At least 15 yearsu2019 bridge engineering experience including substantial precast segmental and complex bridge finaldesign through constructionu2022 Experience on large, multidisciplinary transit and roadway bridge design projectsu2022 Experience with various structure types including precast concrete girders, precast segmental bridges (both balanced cantilever and span-by-span), and other complex bridges.u2022 Project management and leadership experienceu2022 Strong written and oral communication skills and a team-oriented attitudeu2022 Strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of technical standards for bridge design, design in high seismic areas and deep liquefaction, construction, and maintenance including AASHTO LRFD and state-specific guidelinesu2022 Familiarity with FHWA requirements and guidelinesu2022 Ability and willingness to travel on occasionIdeally, Youu2019ll Also Have:u2022 Masteru2019s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineeringu2022 Washington SE Registration or the possibility of obtaining Washington SE registration within one yearu2022 Existing relationships with WSDOT, Sound Transit, and/or other relevant agenciesu2022 Multi-faceted experience including public sector project experienceu2022 At least 20 yearsu2019 bridge and structural engineering experience including substantial segmental and complex bridge design and construction as well as leadership of design teamsu2022 Alternative delivery project experience including Design-Build (DB), Progress Design-Build (PDB), and Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) projects.u2022 Knowledge of WSDOT Standard Specifications and Bridge Design ManualJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
