DESCRIPTION: Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Inside Sales Representative II and be part of our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you'll generate sales growth through virtual and digital channels while building strong relationships with customers across academic, biotech, pharma, clinical and industrial markets. You'll promote and sell our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services, using consultative selling skills to understand customer needs and provide optimal solutions. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage customer relationships through our CRM system, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets. This position offers excellent career development opportunities within a global leader in serving science. Will be on-site at our Austin offices. REQUIREMENTS: u2022 B.S. Degree in the Sciences required plus 2 years of sales and/or laboratory/research experience required, Advanced degree preferred. u2022 Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or related scientific field u2022 Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals and targets u2022 Strong consultative selling and relationship building skills u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication abilities u2022 Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite u2022 Ability to develop and maintain deep product and technical knowledge u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail u2022 Effective at working both independently and collaboratively u2022 Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple priorities u2022 Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities u2022 Ability to travel 10-25% for customer meetings and internal events u2022 Foreign language proficiency may be required for certain regions u2022 Valid driver's license required u2022 Must align with company values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement u2022 Experience with scientific products/instruments preferred but not requiredThermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
