Eachstudent's path through the Program is unique, and this position's mainresponsibility is to help provide students the flexibility to define andpursue their unique pathway while maintaining accountability to SMPH,the Graduate School, and funding agencies. The MSTP Co-Administratorwill work closely with the MSTP Faculty Director and fellowCo-Administrator in the administration of the MSTP and its NationalInstitutes of Health (NIH) training grant. The successful candidate willbring an innovative perspective in the development and implementation ofstrategies to advance the program. The person in this position must showinitiative, and outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills. Inconsultation with Faculty Director, this person will develop objectives,procedures and priorities for the Program; coordinate its overalldirection to improve effectiveness and quality; monitor studentprogress; manage outreach, recruitment and admissions (includingcoordinating virtual and in-person interviews); schedule and staffcommittee meetings; coordinate courses taught through the MSTP; trackalumni and Program outcomes; administer undergraduate summer program;plan events; and troubleshoot and resolve problems. This positionrequires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus worklocation. Candidates who demonstrate the following knowledge, skills,and abilities will be given first consideration Ability to managesimultaneous projects, prioritize tasks, work collaboratively, and meetdeadlines in a high-paced environment Ability to learn and use a varietyof applications and software programs.
