Electrical Engineer III

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Electrical Engineer III An an Electrical Engineer IIIwill will perform a variety of complex engineering duties to design,plan, and oversee the design and development of electric/electronicdevices and systems applied to new or existing products . Evaluatesprogress and results of projects. Recommends changes in design,procedures or objectives as necessary. You will do this by Designs andtroubleshoots electrical/electronic assemblies and systems Confirmssystem's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods;testing properties Adheres to new product development processes as itrelates to Concept Analysis, Business Case, product development,pre-production and post-launch steps Recommends methods of manufacturingduring the design of new products, design modifications or processchanges based on cost/design studies Partners with other departments tohelp drive business decisions Recommends changes in design, proceduresor objectives as necessary. Develops engineering test standards Performsother duties as assigned Qualifications Strong knowledge and use ofelectrical/electronic control circuits and systems Strong understandingof electrical/electronic components and their uses in various powersystems Comprehensive knowledge of appropriate standards and regulationsWell-developed knowledge of applicable technologies and/or productsStrong communication skills to explain designs and logic used Fluent inEnglish and primary language used in area of responsibility and/orlocation Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related field Five yearsof professional engineering experience Briggs & Stratton, headquarteredin Milwaukee, Wisconsin, provides innovative products and diverse powersolutions to help people get work done.
