CNC Machinist/Programmer - Direct Hire

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: Currently seeking a CNCMachinist/Programmer for a great opportunity in the Menomonee Falls, WIarea. The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of machinistexperience. Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist/ProgrammerConsistently able to design and develop accurate programs in a timelymanner. Reliably able to run both new and repetitive jobs efficiently.Set-up, check programs and operate numerically controlled machine toolsand/or CNC machining equipment to perform a complex series ofprogressive machining operations to meet precise tolerance and finishrequirements. Understand program format and fixturing. Able to arrange,mount and secure workpiece in absence of fixturing. Set stop; calibratefixturing to appropriate reference points. Install programs and/or cardsin consoles reader and correlates machine position with controls.Manually cycles machine through an operation sequence to check fixtureand work positions, tooling, clearances, speeds, feeds, etc. Adjustmachine or console to correct deviations from program specifications.Recognize reports and corrects errors. Recommend tooling and operationalsequence to assist in developing practical programming for new andunusual machining requirements. May set-up for and instruct machineoperators of lower classification. Able to troubleshoot and diagnoseoperating difficulties and make adjustments. Work form detailed andinvolved part drawings and specifications. OTHER EXPERIENCEAND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements for the CNC Machinist/Programmer 5-7years of machinist experience Mathematical skills that require theability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and perform geometric,algebraic and trigonometric calculations Accredited apprenticeship orequivalent training together with considerable experience in machineshop practices and techniques plus additional training to acquire aworking knowledge of programming numerically controlled machine tools orCNC machining equipment and operations Must be able to perform metricconversions Must be able to read and understand blueprints,specifications and routings Requires G&M code experience Experience onconversational controls a plus Must be able to calculate own feeds andspeeds Must be able to show good understanding of geometric tolerancing APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: Other: SITE Staffing does not accept phonecalls regarding any job postings.
