Performs office andadministrative duties, resolves problems and actively cross-sells bankproducts and services. Supports and demonstrates the customer servicestandards set by North Shore Bank. Acts in a supervisory capacity in theabsence of the Branch Manager. Some Lead Tellers are assigned as AreaLead Tellers; staff in these roles are assigned a number of branchlocations to support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES North ShoreBank's Position Descriptions are intended to describe only the majorresponsibilities of the job. You may be expected to perform other dutiesspecified by your manager. Everyone is expected to contribute whateverefforts necessary to operate efficiently and effectively to insure thesuccess of North Shore Bank. Operations: In coordination with BranchManager, disseminates all operational changes/updates to branchpersonnel through staff meetings. Serves the customer in a professional,courteous, efficient manner through prompt handling of all tellerfunctions. Ensures adherence to NSB customer service standards with bothinternal and external customers. Answers questions from prospects orcustomers and maintains good customer relations; direct customers toproper employees for answers to more complex problems and inquiries.Handles complex and non-routine inquiries by tellers and customersconcerning bank policy and operating procedures; researches andsolves...
