Coordinates, designs, and conducts responsive complex training and educational programs for information systems or user personnel. Supervises, evaluates, and/or provides functional guidance to assigned subordinate personnel or personnel assigned on a temporary or intermittent basis.Education & ExperienceEducation and Experience Required:u00a0u00a0High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in healthcare/healthcare organizations, clinical practice, information technology, accounting, finance, healthcare revenue cycle, clinical informatics, Epic application build, education, or training.u00a0Certifications, Licenses, or Registration Required:u00a0Epic certification or accreditation in at least one module (e.g. ASAP, Cadence, Willow, etc.). If not certified, must be obtained within 6 months after date of hire.u00a0Preferred Qualifications:u00a0Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMSS), or Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMMSS) a plus.u00a0Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of training methodology. Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures. Knowledge of computer systems, equipment, and applications. Knowledge of technological trends/developments. Verbal and written communication skills. Teaching and facilitation skills. Ability to determine training objectives. Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology. Ability to conduct and/or facilitate information system training and instruction. Ability to train, motivate, and supervise assigned employees and/or team members assigned on a temporary or intermittent basis.u00a0u00a0RESPONSIBILITIESu00a0Master at least one epic application and the workflow associated.Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate the training program for respective application(s).Act as liaison for credentialed trainers and super users to optimize the use of the epic system. Assist with maintenance of all application curriculums. Provide appropriate training material for all upgrades and system changes. Develop assessments for competency testing.Build, test, and maintain the training environment(s) scenarios.Facilitate end user training classes as needed.Monitor and resolve landesk tickets assigned to epic optimization team.Maintain a healthy relationship with build team of assigned epic application(s).Train and credential trainers from within the organization to provide end-user training and administer assessments. Coordinate with instructional design team to create effective end-user training for users of assigned application(s).Communicate effectively both verbally, written and digital.
