By joining us, you don't justbecome part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue ourrich legacy that started back in 1874.Join us as aTerritory MOD ManagerYour main responsibilitiesThe Territory Modernization Manager should provide management of company's activities and functions relating to the modernization of all products existing within our portfolio as well as driving all acquisition and recovery efforts for units outside our portfolio within an assigned geographic span. All this work is to be fulfilled in a manner which achieves customer satisfaction as well as the strategic business objectives of the region. u00a0Develop and execute a business plan in support of the territory's financial and non-financial objectives and support the implementation of territory modernization sales and operations initiatives. u00a0Build and recommend an operational budget and manage expenditures within approved specifications for time and materials and other fixed assets including parts inventory, company tools and vehicles for the most cost-effective results. u00a0Responsible for managing net working capital via appropriate asset management measures and proper billing procedures. u00a0Develop and execute a strategic, sustainable customer excellence plan to deliver high quality service and grow loyalty with customers. u00a0Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers and influential industry consultants through personal contact and staff assignments. u00a0Responsible for managing, mentoring and leading a team of modernization-focused Sales Representatives, Field Superintendents, Project Managers by setting and clarifying employee objectives, managing their ongoing performance and continuously developing their skills, all in an effort to drive the modernization team to meet required financial targets/metrics and performance KPls. u00a0Initiate procedures and leadership practices to create a business environment for participative management, maintain high morale of subordinates and demonstrate strong support of Schindler's cultural beliefs and best practices. u00a0Engage in pro-active labor relations with local business agents with the support of Schindler's Labor Relations team. u00a0Set expectations for Field Technician engagement and provide Superintendents with the support necessary to provide ongoing training and performance management essential to productivity and quality improvement and ensuring the active participation of all technicians in performance reviews. u00a0Review labor estimates for all modernization bids in partnership with the Sales Representative and Superintendent. u00a0Advise Superintendents on manpower movement, particularly specialists, including but not limited to adjusters, hydraulic mechanics, escalator mechanics. u00a0Ensure all required modernization meetings (both sales & operations) are effective. Lead meetings where appropriate. u00a0Provide expert technical knowledge for any project that needs additional oversight or intervention by visiting jobsites and reviewing ongoing project work with the operational team to ensure that projects close-out at the required efficiency and profitability levels. u00a0Interface with Product Line experts on operational challenges, including but not limited to product issues, safety concerns, supply chain. u00a0Ensure coordination of personnel and product safety responsibilities in partnership with Field Quality Excellence organization including driving personnel safety training nd process adherence and the execution of proper technical training and equipment testing. u00a0Responsible for legal interface of procedures like collection efforts and contractual disputes. u00a0Responsible for investigating and resolving customer issues that require escalation.What you bringYour Experience Education: u00a0BA/BS Business / Management / Engineering u00a0Possess overall knowledge of product and product application; modernization techniques and procedures; ability to understand financial statements; legal awareness to contract terms and conditions.Work Experience: u00a05-7 years in various assignments within the Company, in the Elevator industry, or in another serviceoriented business. u00a0Experience managing a P&L for an industrial company.Additional: u00a0Up to 50% travel within the territory will be required u00a0Excellent written and verbal communications skills u00a0Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS OfficeThis person can also be seated in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Toledo, Indianapolis, Detroit, and LansingWhat's in it for you?Fully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible petitive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans - Effective from first day of hire.3 weeks' vacation which increases with tenure, 7 sick days, 3 floating holidays and8 Company Observed Holidays.Tuition Reimbursement - Eligible after 6 months of service.Parental Leave - 100% base pay for 6 consecutive weeks within first year of achild's birth or adoption.A wide range of development opportunities to boost your professional and leadership growth.We Elevate...
