The Position: We're looking for aHeavy Equipment Operator working as part of quarry operations to produceaggregate and construction materials. Quarry operations includemaintaining and operating the processing plant, (crushers, screens,wash-plants) operating loaders to feed the processing plant andassisting in the stockpile and load-out of finished product. Crush/washOperators are responsible for operating several types of constructionequipment in a safe and efficient manner. This equipment may include,but is not limited to, loaders, skid steers, water trucks, man lifts,dozers and excavators Role and Responsibilities: Operate equipment in asafe and productive manner. Perform routine maintenance and inspectionsof mobile equipment. Communicate plant site issues with the Foreman andMine Management while performing daily inspections of the plant site.Maintain a clean and orderly work site including shoveling and skidsteer operation Assist in plant maintenance and repairs including laborwork, cutting, fabricating and welding. Follow proper safety procedures,including incident reporting. Other duties as assigned.
