Hit the ground running and join the leader in industrialdistribution Responsibilities As a Driver/Stockroom Expeditorassociate, you will perform a variety of duties required to offer ourcustomers world class service and support. You'll pick up and deliverorders, ship and/or receive materials, and maintain stock areas andinventory. We'll also count on you to use your strong customer serviceskills when interacting with customers at the Service Center as well aswhen you're delivering orders. The overall goal is to partner with ourService Center operations team to provide first class service for ourcustomers. This will grow our business at existing customers, developnew customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales goals while increasingcustomer satisfaction. Perform various warehouse duties to receive andverify incoming materials, maintain stock areas, prepare sales orders,pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies. Verify merchandise andensure accuracy Work from a daily schedule, work orders, verbal andwritten instructions Use motor truck, hand and mobile lift equipment,simple hand and power tools, weighing scales, postage meters Operatecompany vehicle to pick up and deliver orders, equipment, and mail asrequired. Sort assignments and arrange most efficient route Assist incounter and telephone sales, order pulling, customer calls as neededMaintain clean driving record Requirements 1+ yr+ proven customerservice / warehouse experience, ideally in a distribution or partscounter environment Basic computer skills, accurate data entry skills,math & mechanical aptitude, basic reading skills Use of proper Englishgrammar, written and verbal Valid driver's license and clean drivingrecord (MVR) Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bendand regular lifting of 50 lbs. or more High school diploma or equivalentPreferred: Knowledge of industrial distribution products Warehouseexperience Desired...
