Job Description:Associate Director, Paid Search & Paid Social The Associate Director, Paid Search and Social, will focus on the strategy, creation, execution, monitoring, reporting, and optimization of auction-based media plans. In this role, you will work with one of dentsu’s largest clients supporting multiple brands within their portfolio. The ideal candidate for this position will be a thoughtful decision maker and team player who is detail-oriented, loves data, has an entrepreneurial mindset and has the proven ability to lead strategic planning initiatives. You will report to our EVP, Head of Media. This role can be remote, with a preference for candidates in the Detroit area.Responsibilities:Build strong relationships with all clients while immersing yourself in their business, understanding each client’s brands objectives, goals and business model.Develop, plan and execute media strategy across key channels including, but not limited to Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic and DisplayOwn tactical plan development, recommendation building, and activation across their respective channelsLead strategic planning initiatives including but not limited to budget and channel allocation, and audience developmentSupport day-to-day communication with internal teams, vendors and agency partners as neededManage all campaign execution (set-up, build, optimization) flawlessly within platforms, calculate and manage bids, budget pacing, win rates and KPI deliveryStay up to date with digital trends and technology, providing POVs and analyses and serve as a media point of contact for any business needsWork with campaign stakeholders to develop a buying strategy for each campaign, including ad formats, user targeting, SSP’s, bid strategy, etc.Troubleshoot campaign performance and delivery, utilizing data insights to create and iterate performance and testing strategiesResponsible for monthly forecasting and invoicing, while concurrently working with finance operations to ensure accuracyCoordinate and develop audience segmentation strategyDetail-oriented with the ability to explain complex situations to internal stakeholdersQualifications:4+ years of experience in media strategy/planning experience in Programmatic, Paid Search, and/or Paid SocialHands-on experience within Ad Serving and Paid Search, Social, and Programmatic Buying platformsAd Operations experience, such as naming taxonomy, tag application, and traffickingDetail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong understanding of Excel and PowerPointA strong mix of analytical, strategic, & creative thinkingPrevious client management or client facing experienceExperience managing and forecasting budgets and billing; MediaOcean/Prisma experience a plus#LI-JK1 #LI-RemoteThe annual salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,000.
