OASAS Residential Awake Overnight Counselor Rochester, NY ( Job Type Part-time Description Help someone find hope in the recovery process as an Awake Overnight Counselor. East Househas full-timeAwake Overnight Counselorroles available in the residential support services program. This role would be working in a residential setting with up to 14 adults that are recovering from mental illness or substance dependency. TheAwake Overnight Counselormust be skilled at encouraging and coaching clients through their recovery process with compassion and patience because it can sometimes be a slow process. Daily responsibilities for theAwake Overnight Counselorinclude but are not limited to overnight awake supervision and monitoring for safety and security, management of client medications, maintaining client safety, cleaning house and providing clerical support for other staff, and maintaining documentation standards. This is a non-exempt position starting at$19.00 per hour plus an overnight differential.
