What WeOffer: $1,000 Hiring Bonus 100% Employee Insurance Coverage (Medical,Dental, Vision) 50% Dependent Health Benefits 401(k) with Company MatchPaid Holidays, and a Generous PTO Policy Opportunities for Career GrowthWhat You'll Do: Perform high-level mechanical assembly on railcars andsub-assemblies Install, align, and secure mechanical systems and pipingcomponents on railcars Assist with plumbing related work (installing,connecting, and testing water and drainage lines) Read and interpretblueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings with minimal supervisionPerform advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving during assemblyWork collaboratively with other team members and departments to finishthe bathroom and interior of the train What We're Looking For: HighSchool Diploma or equivalent (Technical certification is a strong plus)4-6 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing or productionenvironment (construction is also acceptable) Strong mechanical aptitudewith the ability to work on complex assemblies Plumbing experience (doesnot require certification) strongly preferred, or equivalent advancedmechanical experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints,mechanical schematics and diagrams Skilled with hand tools, power tools,and measurement instruments Familiarity with preventative maintenanceand mechanical troubleshooting is a plus Mentoring or trainingexperience is a strong plus but not required Physical and OtherRequirements: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test Frequentlyrequired to stand, walk and perform manual tasks Occasionally requiredto kneel, stoop, or climb Ability to lift and move up to...
