EHS Specialist

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Based in Milwaukee and reporting to the VP EHS, theEHS Specialist will play a key role across the organization in achievingthe company's EHS goals, with the focus on improving EHS managementsystems, reporting and regulatory compliance. In this role, they willwork with a diverse team across our global manufacturing footprint inthe execution of our EHS strategy. They will be responsible formaintaining EHS information management systems, global applications andcompliance tools. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to implement processes and technologies that support theorganization's strategy, goals, and targets Administer the EHSinformation management system and lead improvement initiatives Overseeglobal site reporting requirements, report metrics and summarize trendanalysis Develop and implement training programs Train associates on EHSmanagement system elements and reporting applications Create EHSstandards, procedures and related documents Conduct periodic systems andregulatory audits at manufacturing locations Respond to customer EHSrequests and surveys Professional Experiences/Qualifications Bachelor'sdegree in EHS or related fields 2+ years of progressive experience in anEHS corporate or manufacturing site role Must be a persistentself-starter who can work effectively and lead others with minimumoversight Incumbent must be able to work effectively with all levels theorganization and with individuals outside of the company. Proficiency inthe use of computers with knowledge of MS office products includingOutlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
