JOB REQUIREMENTS: SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP ROLE Reporting to the President,Couplings & Gearing Divisions, within the Industrial PowertrainSolutions (IPS) Segment, the Senior Director of Product Management &Strategic Marketing is responsible for the development and execution ofthe differentiated product strategy that enables profitable growth forthe Couplings Division. The role is responsible for product lifecyclemanagement and market strategy of the $650M portfolio, ensuring properstrategies and tactics are in place to support critical products throughtheir respective phases of the cycle. This leader will seek to create abalanced portfolio of investments while driving new product ideation andvitality with a focus on A customers and A products. This position isexpected to combine strategic leadership, sales engagement, and productdevelopment in order to achieve business goals. As a senior leader, theposition is responsible for developing a team that thrives in a dynamic,fast-paced environment and is driven to excel and perform at theirhighest potential. This position is also responsible for drivingactivities and decisions that grow our market share by maintaining ahigh level of customer service and customer satisfaction. Product & Strategic MarketingLeadership Establish and execute the transformational vision of theportfolio to achieve customer satisfaction and profitable growth. Managethe entire product life cycle of all product lines within the globalCoupling Portfolio with an emphasis on our A products and new productideation and development. Coordinate and lead VOC processes to improvedepth and quality of market and technology insights. Utilize VOC andbusiness case analysis to develop strategy and unique value propositionsthat enable growth. Utilize VOC to develop product and market basedMekko's that create unique insights into market and technology needs.Define the competitive landscape and how we will win in each of ourtarget product / market battlegrounds.
