Member Service Specialist I

POSITION PURPOSE:The position of Member Service Specialist I will work under general supervision and follow established policies and procedures of the credit union. The primary emphasis for this position will be to process savings and share draft accounts, check cashing, assist members with money orders, traveler's checks, and Visa transactions. This position requires an understanding of daily teller transactions and processes and working knowledge of the credit union's electronic data and processing system. This position will also assist members in the areas of Visa accounts, share accounts, stop payments, money orders, check orders, and resolve member inquiries. This position will require knowledge of loan, IRA, CD, Visa, ATM, wire transfer, and western union processes.
