We are connected by our mission - partnering and healing for a healthy future - and dedicated to the health and well-being of the communities we serve.NICU Supervisory experience is preferred5 years or more in a Level 3 or higher for NICU needsFTE: 1.0, Shift: Variable, Schedule: Variable ShiftPosition SummaryThe Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and supervision of work performed by assigned professional staff engaged in respiratory care activities and for providing respiratory therapy to inpatients and/or outpatients of MultiCare. This position operates independently, under limited supervision, providing direction and guidance to assigned Respiratory Therapists, and depending on assigned unit, other non-nursing professionals. This is a working supervisor position. Individuals in this position possess specialized training and experience to perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care, including the establishment of therapy and treatment objectives, and the review of care based on the age and needs of the patient.RequirementsAssociate's degree or 2 years additional experience in lieu of degree will be consideredBachelor's degree preferredGraduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy training programRegistered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care2 years of experience in professional or technical role/functionLicensed as Respiratory Care Practitioner with the State of WashingtonPrevious experience and demonstrated skills in a leadership or a supervisory roleCurrent CPR certification required and advanced life support credential required within 90 - 365 days of hire depending on specific position and course availability (NRP, PALS or ACLS)Our ValuesAs a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy.
