MRI Technologist - Erie Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $36.57 - $54.85 an hour - Full-Time Days, 36 hours per week +$2.50/hr for weekend shifts. Boulder Community Health is seeking an MRI Technologist that plays a pivotal role in healthcare by conducting Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures with utmost precision, consistently delivering top-notch examinations. This critical role involves utilizing advanced imaging technology to aid in diagnosis and treatment, contributing significantly to patient care. Benefits: u2022Health insurance, including a FREE employee only option u2022Dental and Vision insurance u2022BCH paid Life Insurance; Spouse and Dependent Life Insurance plans u2022Short-term and Long-term disability coverage u2022Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts u2022Retirement plan with BCH matching contributions, and discretionary lump sum contribution u2022Paid Time Off u2022Education assistance program u2022Voluntary Wellness programs, to include biometrics, wellness team challenges, and much more u2022Staff Support Initiatives such as Sound Baths, Meditation, Massages, and Reiki u2022Free one-on-one retirement planning sessions u2022Employee Assistance Program offering 8 free, confidential counseling sessions for you and your family Qualifications u2022Registered Technologist (ARRT) for Radiology Technology u2022Completion of MRI training (structured or on the job) u2022BLS by end of conditional period. u2022Active Registered Technologist (AART) for MRI, or MRI registered within: otwo years from hire/transfer date for trainee, or o18 months from hire/transfer date for registry eligible staff Responsibilities u2022Prepare, position, and safely transfer patients for MRI procedures, ensuring proper alignment and comfort in accordance with imaging protocols. u2022Operate MRI scanners and perform diagnostic imaging procedures, selecting appropriate technical parameters to produce high-quality images. u2022Process, review, and archive MRI images; ensure scans are properly labeled and presented for radiologist interpretation. u2022Administer contrast agents intravenously, adhering to safety protocols and monitoring for adverse reactions. u2022Coordinate and schedule patient appointments for MRI exams, ensuring efficient workflow and minimal delays. u2022Provide on-call MRI technologist support as scheduled, responding to emergency and after-hours imaging needs. u2022Participate in quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) programs, contributing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. u2022Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance on MRI machines to ensure optimal performance and safety. u2022Complete administrative and clerical tasks, including documentation, patient records management, and data entry. u2022Maintain a clean, organized, and safe MRI suite, complying with infection control and workplace safety standards. u2022Screen patients and personnel for contraindications, such as metallic implants or foreign bodies, following MRI safety guidelines.
