For more information visitWe are seeking skilled Service Techniciansspecializing in Caterpillar (CAT) equipment to join our team. We haveopenings for both Field Service Technicians, who perform on-sitemaintenance and repairs, and Shop Service Technicians, who handlecomprehensive service tasks in our facility. These roles requireexpertise in a range of CAT equipment models used in construction,mining, and related industries. Field Service TechnicianResponsibilities: On-Site Maintenance and Repair: Travel to customersites to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair ofCAT equipment, including but not limited to: Bulldozers: D6, D8, D9Excavators: 320, 336, 349 Loaders: 950, 980, 988 Articulated Trucks:745, 777, 789 Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Utilize CAT diagnostictools and technical manuals to identify and resolve mechanical,electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently. Occasional operation ofthe machine in the determination of repair need or repair assessment mayoccur. Parts Replacement and Testing: Disassemble and assemble faultyparts, components, or systems on CAT machinery. Conduct tests andadjustments to ensure proper functionality and adherence to manufacturerspecifications. Perform preventive maintenance and general machineupkeep. Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency service callsto minimize equipment downtime and maintain operational continuity forcustomers. Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally withcustomers, providing service updates, explaining technical issues, andoffering recommendations for equipment performance optimization. Load orunload equipment or components from customer-owned or common carriervehicles as needed. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of serviceactivities, inspections, repairs, and parts usage.
