Leads and fosters a strong organizational culture of safety. Collaborates closely with the CMO and CQO to design and implement process improvements aimed at eliminating medical and health-care errors and reducing factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes.Education & ExperienceEducation and Experience Required:u00a0Four (4) years of RN experience including one (1) year of leadership experience in nursing, process improvement, or quality improvement.u00a0Certifications, Licenses, or Registration required:u00a0Valid RN license.u00a0Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:u00a0Knowledge of clinical nursing care procedures and protocols. Strong knowledge of local, state, federal, & accrediting agencies. Verbal and written communication skills.u00a0 Interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment.u00a0Responsibilitiesu00a0Manages the resources necessary to implement and sustain the nursing quality and patient safety program in alignment with organizational goals.Partners with leaders in the CMO office, including Risk Management, Performance Improvement, and Quality, to drive patient safety priorities, standardize care practices, and prevent harm events.Deploys nursing quality and patient safety science principles, theories, methods, standards, and regulatory requirements to build and maintain safe processes and systems.Promotes quality and patient safety accountability by educating, engaging, and training staff in related initiatives. Applies change management principles to ensure successful implementation of new processes and improvements.Measures performance and clinical outcomes by identifying trends, analyzing dashboards and data, and tracking progress against national and organizational goals and benchmarks.
