Job Requisition ID:R00047506Job Category:Clerical and Customer ServiceOrganization:Transplant Clinical StaffLocation/s:Main Campus JacksonJob Title:Transplant Program Navigator - KidneyJob Summary:Support the RN Transplant Coordinators manage patient care and transplant processes.u00a0 This role will perform all transplant process roles that do not require a RN license, allowing the RN Transplant Coordinators to focus on patient clinical care.u00a0 Those roles include, but not limited to; communicating with patients regarding evaluation testing/procedures, organization testing/procedural calendars, interfacing with external departments to ensure testing/procedures are scheduled in the best possible manner for the patient, managing the office functions for the coordinator team including; faxes/emails/telephone, ensuring prior authorizations have been attained prior scheduling and other roles deemed necessary and appropriate.u00a0 Excellent communicator to patients, RN Transplant Coordinators and providers.Education & ExperienceEducation and Experience Required:u00a0 Bachelor's degree in related field required.
