If yes, we want to hear from youJoin our Global Talent Acquisition Team in COWIAs part of our continued growth in North America, we're seeking a skilled Global Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us in Oakland or Seattle. In this role, you will work primarily on engineering-focused hires, collaborating closely with our global talent acquisition network to support recruitment efforts across US offices. Reporting to the Head of People and Organisation for North America, you will own a broad portfolio of hiring needs and lead strategic initiatives that align with COWI's overall business goals.Your key responsibilities will be to:Oversee the recruitment process for engineering roles across our US offices, concentrating on civil engineering domains like bridges, tunnels, and marine structures.Conduct market intelligence and monitor job markets to identify talent-sourcing opportunities.Act as a strategic partner to our VP and local leadership, implementing innovative hiring initiatives aligned with global business objectives.Partner with local Talent Acquisition Specialists, HR Business Partners, and Hiring Managers to ensure strategic hiring and use data analysis to track recruitment metrics and provide insightful reports.Ensure compliance with labour laws, privacy regulations, OFCCP, EEO, and COWI's TA code of conduct.Develop a robust pipeline of candidates to facilitate organizational growth by working alongside hiring managers and guiding operational leaders.Your skills. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.On top of that, you'll have:A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.A min. of 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment, with experience recruiting in the architectural, construction, and engineering (AEC) industry, especially in transportation infrastructure in the USEffective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with leadership and teamsEffective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple requisitions across different locations and levels, sourcing passive talent via LinkedIn and other platforms.Ability to translate business needs into talent acquisition strategies, with experience in a multinational, multicultural environment.Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).A place to work and so much moreAt COWI, we work together with our customers to shape a sustainable and liveable world.
