Job Summary and Qualifications Seeking a Licensed Clinic Supervisor for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role: u00b7 May have direct patient care duties. u00b7 Helps establish/implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for the assigned clinical areas u00b7 Participates in the development and implementation of clinical plans. u00b7 Selects, trains/orients, and supervises departmental personnel. Responsible for work assignment and daily operations u00b7 Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions. u00b7 Resolves problems in clinical areas and ensures compliance with regulations and standards u00b7 Monitors and controls clinical expenditures to remain within budget u00b7 Serves as liaison between clinic and external agencies u00b7 Works with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided. u00b7 Participates in professional development activities to keep current with health care trends and practices. What Qualifications you will need: EDUCATION: u00b7 Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or a degree or diploma from an accredited school of practical or vocation nursing is required. EXPERIENCE: u00b7 Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office, acute care or clinical outpatient setting is required. Previous supervisory experience in a clinical setting is preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: u00b7 Current and Active Medical Assistant certification (Acceptable certifications are RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials) or active LPN or LVN license is required. CPR Certification required.
