Empathy, collaboration, and a relentless focus on customer success drive our work and set us apart.The Senior Solutions Sales Engineer, Enterprise - LATAM- Mexico City OpportunitySolutions Engineers at Okta are involved in all stages of the customer'sdevelopment lifecycle and are experienced using demos, presentations, email, phone and social media to connect with customers. We are looking for great teammates that can build sales presentations, product demonstrations, conduct technical proof-of-concept evaluations, and educate customers (everyone from developers to product managers to C-level executives) on the best cloud security and identity technology in the market.Okta's Solutions Engineers empathize with customers and quickly discern their true technical needs by asking detailed and clarifying questions and presenting solutions that target those needs. Solutions Engineers have the rare combination of technical savviness and business insight.As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Okta, you will hone each of these skills byadvising a diverse set of Fortune 500 customers on what is possible using Okta's IdentityPlatform.What you'll be doingCollaborate with account executives to develop and execute territory and account strategies to maximize the Okta opportunity in those accountsPrepare and deliver demos to showcase how the Okta platform meets customers' business needs and use casesExecute the delivery of POCs for customers with complex use cases, collaborating with other Okta engineering teams as needed. This requires the ability to instruct customers in coding their web and mobile applications to integrate with Okta's Auth0 platform.Conduct research and discovery to understand customer requirements and communicate the business value of solving technology problems using cloud technologyCraft technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases or standard methodologies for new technologiesAuthor concise written documentation for RFPs, security questionnaires, product use case blogs, etc.Distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and SalesRequired Skills:5+ years pre-sales engineering experienceFluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese also is a big plus)Preferred: Background in Identity/SecurityAbility to travel inside and outside the USA to Latin American countries freelyA passion to serve the customer, which has played out in some customer-facing role like consulting or support, ideally solutions engineeringAn ability to quickly and eectively communicate complex technical concepts via presentation, slides and whiteboar
