Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. This is a Contract to permanent position, providing an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term stability. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn, contributing to the efficient management of accounts payable processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Process invoices and ensure accurate coding to accounts. u2022 Manage payments through Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check runs. u2022 Verify and reconcile accounts payable transactions for accuracy and completeness. u2022 Assist with the implementation of system upgrades and conversions, including JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. u2022 Maintain organized records of financial documents and vendor communications. u2022 Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow. u2022 Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities as required. u2022 Uphold business casual dress standards while working in an in-office environment. u2022 Adapt to new processes and technologies with a proactive approach. u2022 Support administrative tasks related to accounts payable operations. Requirements u2022 Previous experience in accounts payable or related administrative roles. u2022 Proficiency in account coding and invoice processing. u2022 Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check payment procedures. u2022 Ability to learn and adapt to new systems, such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions. u2022 Ability to work independently and collaboratively. u2022 Commitment to maintaining a detail-oriented and business casual appearance.
