This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical leadership and hands on engineering, with opportunities to influence project strategy, mentor staff, and drive high quality design execution. As the Transmission Team Lead, you will oversee the full lifecycle of overhead transmission projectsu2014ranging from early conceptual development through detailed design and construction support. Location This position is based out of our office in Lone Tree, CO. Responsibilities u2022 Lead and mentor a team of transmission engineers and designers working on overhead line projects. u2022 Oversee development of conceptual designs, routing evaluations, structure type selection, and cost/constructability assessments. u2022 Review and approve detailed design deliverables, including: o Plan & profile drawings o Structure loading and design packages o Conductor and hardware specifications o Foundation load requirements o Bills of material and construction work packages u2022 Utilize industry standard tools such as PLS CADD, PLS Pole/Tower, and SAG10 to guide and validate engineering work. u2022 Coordinate schedules, workloads, and priorities to meet client and project requirements. u2022 Identify and mitigate technical and execution risks to support safe and efficient construction. u2022 Collaborate closely with civil, structural, environmental, and electrical teams to ensure integrated project delivery. u2022 Provide engineering support during procurement and construction, including responding to RFIs and resolving field issues. Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or related engineering discipline. u2022 8-10 years of overhead transmission line design for utility or EPC projects. u2022 Proficiency with PLSu2011CADD and related transmission design software. u2022 Experience leading engineering teams or serving as a technical lead. u2022 Solid understanding of NESC, ASCE, and utilityu2011specific design standards. u2022 Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across disciplines. #LI-RF1 Working Conditions Other Requirements: u2022 Regular, reliable attendance u2022 Work productively and meet deadlines timely u2022 Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment u2022 Perform work safely and effectively.
