Job Title: NG911 Technical Project Manager (PM3) Location: Brooklyn, NY Duration: 11 Months Work Type: Onsite (Not Remote) Job Description Seeking an experienced NG9-1-1 Technical Project Manager to lead and manage technical initiatives supporting Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG911) systems. The role involves overseeing complex projects across the full assessment, design, development, and implementation lifecycle in a mission-critical emergency services environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical project management expertise in networks, telephony, and call handling systems, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and diverse internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed technical specifications and customized configurations to support NG9-1-1 requirements. Manage project schedules, system validation, and testing for functionality, performance, fault tolerance, and operational readiness. Lead projects throughout the full assessment and development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables. Provide direction to project teams and monitor task execution, risks, dependencies, and outcomes. Coordinate with executive leadership, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success. Oversee third-party service providers and ensure adherence to project scope, timelines, and quality standards. Mandatory Skills & Experience (Candidates lacking mandatory requirements will not be considered) Minimum 8 years of project management experience involving networks, telephony, and call handling systems. Strong functional understanding of routing protocols and data delivery techniques. At least 8 years of experience managing medium to large-scale projects with complex dependencies. Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and vendor management. Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Visio. Ability to work onsite in Brooklyn, NY as required (this position is not remote). Desirable Skills & Experience Hands-on technical experience in a large-scale enterprise emergency services environment. Prior exposure to NG911 or public safety communications systems is highly desirable.
