Building Structural Engineer - Intern

We are seeking a Building Structural Intern to join our Structural/Marine Group in our Richmond, VA terns will join our collaborative team of engineers and architects on a variety of challenging projects, including buildings, industrial facilities, water/wastewater plants, and waterfront facilities. WRA has a strong mentoring culture and a focus on staff terns will receive training in structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials. Interns will also be trained in developing concept designs and creating construction documents for clients across a broad range of markets.Requirements:- Current enrollment in an ABET accredited Civil Engineering bachelor or master program preferably with Structural Concentration.- Effective verbal and written communication skills.- Experience with structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD, etc.) a plus.- Experience with drafting and modelingsoftware (Revit and AutoCAD) a plus.- U.S. Citizenship requiredRequired Submissions:- Resume- A copy of current, or most recent, school transcript (If you are applying via a 3rd party site that does not allow attachments, please email transcript )WRA is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and complies with all applicable anti-discrimination laws.
