Pipefitter Apply now u00bb Date:Dec 29, 2025 Location: Rochester, NY, US, 14652 Company: Kodak Role Overview We are looking for a Pipefitter to join our Advanced Materials & Chemicals department in Rochester, NY As a Pipefitter you will perform the following duties: u2022 Pipefitter to provide multi-discipline capability to repair, maintain, install and make improvements on chemical processing equipment and building services (includes process piping, building service piping, pneumatics, and hydraulics) u2022 Ability to work with variety of materials and piping system components (stainless steel, steel, glass-lined, plastic, copper, fibercast, etc.) u2022 Ability to achieve a high level of process expertise to effectively troubleshoot and repair equipment, including root cause analysis. u2022 Includes maintenance of steam traps, specialized valves, filtration systems, steam ejectors, and other specialized equipment. u2022 Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs. u2022 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools. u2022 Flexibility to change based on priorities u2022 Some experience or expertise in mechanical, HVAC equipment and process controls would be a plus. u2022 Welding certification a plus. Requirements: u2022 Dependable, maintain good attendance u2022 Maintain a clean work area and operate in a safe manner at all times. u2022 Must demonstrate effective analytical troubleshooting skills u2022 Able to read pipe and machine drawings u2022 Understanding of piping codes for hazardous environments (flammable liquids) u2022 Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision u2022 Excellent safety record u2013 places safety and environment as top priority in all work u2022 Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out u2022 Good communication skills u2013 daily communications with leaders, maintenance planner, technical staff, engineering and operations as needed. u2022 Team player u2013 willing to be flexible, often work in other areas and with other trades as needed to support maintenance team. u2022 Significant walking, climbing stairs or other means of mobility. u2022 Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds. u2022 Ability to work off of ladders or scaffolding, and in awkward positions u2022 Indoor and outdoor work assignments u2022 Wear protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment required by the work environment or governmental regulations. Qualifications: u2022 Graduate of apprentice program or equivalent demonstrated skill level u2022 HS diploma u2022 Work hours: o Monday u2013 Friday, 8-hour days (40 hours/week) o Willing to work some overtime, as needed, to support production.
