JOB REQUIREMENTS: W.E. Hoban Company is looking for a Quality Manager tojoin our team The Quality Manager is responsible for planning,organizing, directing and managing the day-to-day Quality Departmentactivities. Their goal is to ensure customer expectations are exceededthrough delivery of high-quality products. In addition, the QualityManager will be responsible for implementing, leading, managing, andsuccessfully executing all aspects of the company's Quality ManagementSystem including ISO and IATF certifications ensuring ongoing complianceand continuous readiness for external audits, with a focus onstandardizing procedures between different facilities where addition, this role will take the lead in identifying, learning, andimplementing new certifications as needed to support and advance thecompany's broader sales strategy. The Quality Manager will work closelywith cross-functional teams to align certification efforts withstrategic growth initiatives and evolving customer requirements. Who arewe? W.E. Oversee daily workflows by assigning tasks, monitoringperformance, and optimizing the use of resources to meet production ordepartmental objectives. Support employees by offering coaching,constructive feedback, and recognition of strong performance. Conductregular one-on-one meetings to promote employee development, addressconcerns, and encourage career growth. Identify training needs andpartner with Human Resources for ongoing development opportunities.Participate in the recruitment process, including reviewing resumes,interviewing candidates, and supporting hiring decisions incollaboration with Human Resources. Conduct performance evaluationsannually and guide employees in setting and achieving SMART goals asapplicable. Partner with Human Resources on employee relations anddisciplinary matters to ensure consistency with company policies. Fostera culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaborationwithin the team. Work closely with plant operations in the areas ofquality program management, inspection coordination, and testingrequirements to develop, implement and maintain the Quality ManagementSystem. Manage the development, modification, and maintenance of allquality evaluation and control systems in areas of productresponsibility. Must keep in compliance with company policies, customerrequirements, and government regulations. Develop, manage, and implementinspection methods, equipment and procedures for inspecting, testing andevaluating the precision and accuracy of products and productionequipment. Manage the auditing process of quality systems for deficiencyidentification and correction. Ensure that corrective action plans areestablished and executed in a timely manner. Also, must meet acceptablereliability standards and ensure that documentation is compliant withall customer specifications. Manage the development of sustainable,repeatable, and quantifiable process improvements. Reports to managementthe status of quality assurance programs and practices. Manage up rontquality planning for new products to ensure appropriate quality systemsand processes required to support the introduction are developed andimplemented. Manage the development, implementation, and overseeing ofcompliance of site-required agency certifications related to product andprocess quality of IATF 16949. Represent the company on all third party,customer, and regulatory audits. Generate and maintain applicablequality system documentation. Ensure conformity of initial and ongoingvalidations performed in support of the QMS. Organize and facilitatesManagement Review Meetings. Ensure on going corrective action leadershipand continuous improvement for administration of internal and externalaudits. Complete training as required for QMS. Collect and analyze datato find opportunities to increase profits and prevent waste. Performadditional duties as assigned by supervisor or management based onbusiness needs. Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written andverbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attentionto detail. Effective time management with the ability to prioritize andmeet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel,PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuitepreferred but not required. Strong written and verbal communicationskills. Working knowledge of quality control, materials, and productionprocesses; familiarity with press, upset, or related forging operationsbeneficial. Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving methodologiesand quality tools; able to analyze data, identify issues, and driveeffective solutions. Experience working within a Quality ManagementSystem; eQMS preferred. Analytical and data-driven decision-maker withstrong abstract reasoning skills. Proactive, future-focused, and able toanticipate needs to support continuous improvement and customerresponsiveness. Education and Experience: 3+ years of quality managementexperience 3+ years of quality auditing experience Exceptional knowledgeof QMS documentation; ISO9001 and IATF 16949 experience required (orequivalent) Experience successfully supervising, leading, coaching, andmentoring a team Excellent computer skills to effectively generatereports, input required data or present information ContinuousImprovement / Kaizen training a plus Lean Six Sigma Training (Green Belt/ Black Belt) preferred Background in forging or related manufacturingwork environment Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm JobType: Full-time OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
