Job Summary and Responsibilities As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care. + Performs CT exams + Prepares equipment + Equipment and room maintenance after each procedure + Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained + Reviews the physician orders to verify the type of diagnostic test requested + Informs patient of diagnostic procedure being performed Job Requirements Required: + High School Dioloma/GED required + Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists u2013 ARRT (R) + Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists u2013 ARRT (CT) within 9 months of hire + Certified by the state of Texas u2010 MRAD upon hire or transfer + BLS-CPR, 14 day grace period Where You'll Work St. Joseph Health u2013 Bryan/College Station, Navasota, Caldwell, Madisonville, TX.
