12 Landscaping Laborer Temporary Full Time Workers are needed to begin work on 04/01/2026 through 11/30/2026, No (0) Experience required, No (0) Education Required, The employer will provide on the job training in the proper use and maintenance for power tools and equipment. The standard work schedule is form 7:00 am until 4:00 pm Monday through Friday; Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary, Employer will offer 35 Hours per work week- Overtime is offered but not guaranteed - Employer may offer more hours than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs and other conditions. Extreme Heat, cold, rain, may affect exact hours. The employer will use a single work weekin computing wages due Workers will be paid on Friday (weekly) by check The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by Federal, State and Local Law. Housing: Employer offers voluntarily shared Housing to any workers living outside the reasonable commuting area. Cost of housingis paid directly to employer. Cost of housing is $77.00 weekly. No Family housing offered (Utilities not included in cost of weekly housing). If workers intentionally damage company equipment, property or customers property costs will be deducted from workers paycheck depending on cost of repairs payment will be deducted weekly.Employer may deduct the amount of any loans made by the employer to employee Job Duties:Pulling weeds by hand, mowing grass with mowers, edging by hand and with edger, using rakes, hoe, manual shovel, spreading mulch by hand, blower, cleaning up debris in work area, applying herbicides, fertilizer, watering planting/removal of varies types of plants (seasonal color, annuals, shrubs, trees etc.), preparing flowerbeds and yards for irrigation of lawns, SPREADING AND MOVEING: mulch, soil, fertilizer. Weed: by hand and tools, mowing, edging, stringing, trimming, pruning, fertilizing, and insect control, Install and Maintain drainage and irrigation systems. Use and maintain equipment and tools (ex: shovels different sizes, hoes, trimmers, pull ride or Zero turn mowers, weed eater, etc. (when time allows) Minor maintenance on equipment, maintain a clean work area, remove trash/debris ABLE TO BEND, REACH TO GROUND LEVEL OR OVERHEAD, STAND, WALK, KNEEL FOR LONG PROLONGED PERIOD OF TIME, ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 50LBS, ABLE TO WORK IN ALL-WEATHER CONDITION FROM EXTREME HEAT, COLD OR RAIN. ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS ONCE HIRED WORKER MAY BE REQUIRED TO TAKE A RANDOM DRUG TEST, AT NO COST TO WORKER. TESTING POSITIVE OR FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION HAVING ALLERGIES TO FERTILIZER, DUST, PESTICIDE, INSECT SPRAY AND RELATED CHEMICALS COULD AFFECT WORKERS ABILITY TO WORK. Overtime hours may vary depending on weather or other conditions and will be paid at $25.76 per Hour. Overtime is not guaranteed. Employer may give bonus/raise at the discretion of the employer based on the performance or worker history in addition to the hourly wage offered (not guaranteed)Worksites: Worker will b required to travel to multiple worksites East Baton Rouge, Ascension, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, Jefferson, Orleans, Lafayette Parish at private residence and Commercial PropertiesWorkers are responsible for daily transportation to and from designated pick-up location at 14759 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge LA 70819 Employer will then provide each work crew with daily transportation to and from the work-sites location throughout East Baton Rouge, Ascension, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, Jefferson, Orleans, Lafayette ParishH2B workers will be reimbursed by check in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).Employer will provide at no cost or deposit charge to worker, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(k)Employer guarantees to offer workers full-time employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period pf the total contract period, beginning with the first workday after the work arrives at the place of employment and ending on the contract end date or any extension thereof. Employer may count all hours worked, as well as any hour offered with the standard work schedule that a worker chooses to not work, up to maxim number of daily hours on the job orderInbound/Outbound Transportation: If worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence by check from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.
