The mission of Manchester Industries is to establish an exceptional service platform, supported by our dedicated team, which you could be a part ofWHAT YOU WILL DO:Drives significant impact on the company's overall financial performance through direct customer and revenue influenceServes as the primary point of contact between the company and assigned customersDevelops and executes account plans that deliver profitable achievement of sales objectives, including revenue, volume, and product mixBuilds and sustains Manchester Industries' position as the preferred provider within assigned accountsActs as a leader within the sales team by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersCollaborates closely with Pricing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer Service teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies critical to customer successCustomer Relationship ManagementMaintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.Provide tailored product and service solutions based on customer needs, market trends and competitive landscape.Act as the key point of contact for major clients, be responsible for demand planning, addressing quality issues and claims, and fostering key relationships with internal operations and key mill partners.Cross Functional LeadershipServe as the liaison between sales and operations to ensure alignment on customer expectations and internal capabilities.Coordinate with supply chain manager to assure material planning process is consistent with customer demand on non-standard products or sizes.Demand planning to assure to ensure capacity, quality, and timely fulfillment of customer orders.Business DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities in target segments within your territory.Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.Build and nurture relationships with Paper Merchants in your territory - including key salespeople focused on Paperboard, Purchasing and Customer Service personnel and leadership.Sales Force EffectivenessCollaborate with Marketing coordinator as requested on market research, identify trends, understand market share and provide competitive intelligence including opportunities for growth.Maintain CRM on customer and prospect contact information so the company can conduct effective e-marketing campaigns, surveys etc.Proactive use and engagement with Manchester's sales pipeline management process, allowing leadership to quantify new business opportunities being worked on.Continuously adapt sales strategies to meet changing market conditions and customer needs.Key Competencies and AttributesStrong understanding of critical financial business metrics; ability to leverage data to quantitively and analytically make business decisions.Able to think strategically and act tactically.Demonstrated ability to function at a high level in a collaborative environment understanding how to influence others while living within established processes.High degree of business curiosity; quick learner with a proactive and agile mindset.Optimistically looks toward future for opportunities to innovate and improveExceptional communication skills (written and verbal); leading and presenting complex materials for various audiencesDemonstrated experience in leading and developing consumer product category management -develop setting vision, strategy, tactics, and deliveryDemonstrated experience in balancing advocacy for customer and company to achi
