The Structural Professional Engineer is responsible for leading the structural design and analysis of a variety of building and infrastructure projects while collaborating closely with Parkhill’s integrated MEP/S team. Whether you are a recent graduate with untapped potential or a professional with provenexperience, we invite you to discover a career path designed for you. Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices locatedthroughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review.Direct technicians and EIT’s for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently.Interface with Clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers.Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications.Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents.Mentor others in the proficient use of design software.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering requiredPassed the Professional Engineer exam and can provide a PE license numberThe ability to use Revit/BIM is preferredMinimum of 7 years of structural building design experience in a consulting roleBenefits and PerksWe offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
