Overview Position Summary: The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at assigned facilities (campus, warehouse, office building or airport), ensuring service excellence, staff development, operational efficiency, and strong client relationships. This role serves as the primary liaison between ABM and client partners, delivering high-quality services in alignment with contract requirements while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Compensation: $55k-$60k annual salary (US Dollars) _The pay listed is the salary range for this position. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit Recruiting Flyer - Staff & Mgmt (Flyer - Staff & Mgmt.pdf) Key Responsibilities u00b7 Lead and support frontline employees and supervisors; foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and teamwork. u00b7 Coach and mentor staff to drive performance, professional growth, and compliance with ABM and client policies. u00b7 Recommend staffing levels, assist in hiring and onboarding, and conduct evaluations in partnership with HR. u00b7 Act as the primary contact for clients; build and maintain strong, professional relationships with property management teams and stakeholders. u00b7 Ensure services meet or exceed contract terms, address client feedback, and resolve complaints promptly. u00b7 Promote additional services and identify growth opportunities to increase billable work. u00b7 Oversee daily operations of facility services, including janitorial, parking, and maintenance as applicable. u00b7 Ensure compliance with all ABM processes, safety standards, and quality programs. u00b7 Conduct time studies, site inspections, and implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize performance. u00b7 Coordinate special projects and support implementation of new processes and technologies. u00b7 Prepare, review, and submit operational and financial reports, budgets, payroll records, and cost analysis. u00b7 Identify cost-saving initiatives and support vendor/contractor management. u00b7 Develop and deliver employee training programs focused on safety, operations, and customer service. u00b7 Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company policies. u00b7 Administer disciplinary actions in accordance with company guidelines. --- Qualifications & Skills Required u00b7 2-3 years of experience in facility, operations, or project management with at least 1u20132 years of supervisory experience. u00b7 Strong customer service, leadership, and interpersonal skills. u00b7 Solid business acumen including budget oversight and cost control. u00b7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related technologies. u00b7 Strong verbal and written communication skills. u00b7 Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to urgent client needs, including occasional evening/weekend hours. Preferred u00b7 Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus. u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent experience. u00b7 Experience working in union environments. u00b7 Familiarity with different systems required.
