About the role: Vacuum all carpets, clean & disinfect allrestroom facilities daily, sweep and mop floors daily Empty and discardwaste daily Responsible for regular cleaning of various surfaces, withappropriate cleaners. Replace paper towels, toilet paper and soap asrequired Strip and wax floors as assigned Clean various offices androoms regularly Assist with the care of the corps vehicles Generalrepair work as needed Upkeep of the grounds through mowing the grass,raking, removing weeds, picking up litter, sweeping the parking lot,areas as needed Supervise community service participants and volunteersthat have been assigned to work with you Provide seasonal assistance asneeded Check in all janitorial supplies received including verifyinginvoices Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Corps Officer.Education: High School diploma or equivalent Certifications: ValidDriver's License Experience: Minimum one year experience in janitorialand/or maintenance work The Salvation Army is an equal opportunityemployer.
