We are, so if you want to feel excited on your way to work and can’t wait to be a part ofService Luxury Stylethis could be the job for you.JOB DESCRIPTION:The primary responsibility of the Bar Apprentice is to provide excellent service to all guests who approach the bar, keeps the bar area cleaned and stocked at all times, and assist the Bartender with various duties.JOB FOCUS:Focus is on, but not limited to the following:Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, coolers and other bar appliances in accordance with SLS policies as well as the Clark County Health StandardsMaintains floors and keeps them free of garbage or debrisEnsures back bar is set properly with all product labels facing and pour spouts facing to the left.Ensures all soda gun products, fruit garnishes, and mixes meets service standardsStocks assigned bar with product and supplies for the evening and keeps the assigned bar stock with product and supplies throughout each scheduled shiftEnsures liquor room, walk in coolers, and store rooms are organized and clean at all timesPrepares all mixes and garnishesAcknowledges, greets and converses with customers who approach the barPerforms other job related duties as assigned by Model Bartenders and ManagementActively markets the venue through available social media outlets, as per the Company's Marketing Requirement PlanCollects customer information for the venue database while constantly striving to increase the size of your personal clienteleConstantly provides customers with accurate information about the venue and property as well as entertainment offered in eachWorks to anticipate the needs of bartenders and server assistants at all times, assisting them however necessaryWorks with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs and assist other team members when the opportunity arisesCommunicates with management, hosts and service staff immediately to rectify any and all customer needs and requestsCommunicates with management any complaints, comments or incidentsRemoves all trash from bar, following venue protocol for storage, handling and transportation of waste materialsAdheres to all established policies, procedures and guidelinesCreates and maintains a sense of urgencyDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:At minimum 1 year experience as a bar porter and/or bar back, preferably in ahigh-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurantCurrentand/or previous modeling experience preferred but not requiredMust have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishesWork varied shifts, including weekends and holidays21years or olderRequires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in aprofessional mannerMust possess a valid Nevada alcohol awareness card and a health department cardMust be neat and clean inappearance and physically fit to perform the duties requiredMust be able observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situationsMust be able to operate: cash register, two and six wheel carts,juice, soda and liquor guns, cutting boards, coffee and frozen drinkmachines, ice machines, shot glasses, mixers, pourers, blenders, beer keg/soda/wine/juice hook-ups, and knivesRequires the ability to workwithin a team environment.
