Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of construction litigation cases, including drafting motions, overseeing discovery, and representing clients during court proceedings. u2022 Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare detailed analyses to support litigation strategies. u2022 Take and defend depositions, ensuring accurate and effective representation of client interests. u2022 Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored legal strategies. u2022 Build and maintain strong relationships with the firm's existing client base to ensure continued trust and satisfaction. u2022 Prepare persuasive legal briefs and present arguments effectively during court hearings. u2022 Travel as needed to represent clients or handle case-related matters. u2022 Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments to provide informed legal counsel. u2022 Mentor entry-level staff and assist in their detail oriented development as needed. u2022 Work with a team to achieve favorable outcomes in construction and insurance defense cases. Requirements u2022 Licensed to practice law in Illinois with active Illinois Bar admission. u2022 A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction litigation or a related legal field. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in case management, including drafting motions and managing discovery. u2022 Strong academic background with exceptional writing and analytical skills. u2022 Proficiency in conducting legal research and presenting findings effectively. u2022 Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. u2022 Willingness to travel as required for case-related activities. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills to handle multiple cases efficiently.
