As a Field Service Technician youwill assist with on-site installations, troubleshooting, repairs, andmaintenance of telecommunications products and equipment that TDS sellsand leases. This position has direct, face-to-face contact with ourcustomers and is expected to be proactive with the sales of TDS servicesand products. Services include, but are not limited to, Telephony,Video/CATV/DBS, Internet, and/or high speed networks. This positionexceeds customer expectations by performing extraordinary customerservice, identifying customer needs, and providing them withcommunications solutions. This position also understands how to use anddemonstrate TDS products and seeks sales opportunities while educatingthe customer. Products & services include (but are not limited to):Local Service, Central Office Services, Structured Cabling, MAC (Moves,Adds and Changes), Voice Mail, Audio and/or Video Conferencing andNon-regulated CPE. Due to in-field support and on-call requirements, theindividual selected for this position will be required to reside withina 60-minute distance from Waunakee, WI. This position can be hired ateither a Field Service Technician (requisition ID #2025-28495), FieldService Technician - Network (requisition ID #2025-28063) or FieldService Technician - Network Specialist level (requisition ID#2025-28064) depending on the skills and qualifications of thecandidate.
