The UW Health Breast Center treats over 700 new breastcancer patients yearly and is accredited by the National AccreditationProgram for Breast Centers. Breast imaging radiologists work side byside with an excellent, collaborative team of breast surgeons in theBreast Center. Multidisciplinary tumor board and radiology-pathologycorrelation conferences occur weekly. A new state-of-the-art outpatientclinic with integrated breast imaging and breast clinical care is openedin the fall of 2024, expanding our multi-disciplinary practice. Thebreast imaging section in the UW Department of Radiology trains three tofour breast imaging fellows and many residents on an annual basis. Thisposition requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campuswork location. This position has been identified as a position of trustwith access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will berequired to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible foremployment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.Applicants who are interested in pursuing an academic career in theBreast Imaging and Intervention section will be considered for thetitles Clinical Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, ClinicalAssistant Professor, Professor (CHS), Associate Professor (CHS) orAssistant Professor (CHS).
