We are seeking candidates for aOculoplastic Surgeon that will involve patient care, teaching, andresearch. Clinical activities will include patient care at UW Healthclinic locations. Teaching activities will involve medical students,residents, fellows, and continuing medical education in the area ofoculoplastics. Research activities may include participation in clinicaltrials and/or translational research. This position has been identifiedas a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. Theselected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver checkto be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law andevery four years. Key Job Responsibilities: 1. Develop and carry outpatient care programs in the diagnosis and treatment of oculofacial andorbital conditions. 2. Provide patient care at the UW Health Clinics,University Station Eye Clinic, Middleton VA, Unity Point Health MeriterHospital, and clinical outreach site(s). 3. Participate inUniversity-sponsored HMO and Outreach programs. 4. Participate infellow, resident, and medical student clinical education in clinic andin operating rooms. Faculty are expected to teach medical students,residents, and fellows. All faculty participate in administrative andcommittee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UWHealth and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
