This is an opportunityfor a full-time Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor.We seek a leader with enthusiasm for academic medicine who willencourage, inspire, and empower division members. The Division Chiefprovides strategic and operational leadership; oversees divisionalfaculty and staff; spearheads the expansion of clinical, education, andresearch programs; and guides faculty professional development. This isan opportunity to teach and mentor medical students, residents, andother trainees, thereby shaping the next generation of medicalprofessionals. Opportunities exist for clinical research in thecandidate's area/s of interest. The candidate will lead dedicateddisease-specific research staff and have access to substantialprogrammatic research funds. This position is full-time, 100% Thisposition requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campuswork location. Contact with vulnerable populations that are non-minors(does not pertain to physicians/providers who work with minors): Thisposition has been identified as a position of trust with access tovulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to passan initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under theWisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
