JOB REQUIREMENTS: General Purpose of Work Under minimal supervision,positions in this classification control and operate all plant systems,perform the full range of Auxiliary Operator duties as necessary, anddirect the performance of others in the operation, testing, maintenance,and administrative functions required for the safe and efficientoperation of gas turbine generators, heat recovery steam generators,steam turbine generators, chilled water plant, and other equipment in acogeneration power plant. Control Operators maintain a familiarity withand perform all work in accordance with MGE safety rules and practicesto provide a safe work environment.General Duties Controls, operates andmaintains all assigned equipment and grounds safely and efficiently.Monitors, trends, troubleshoots, and adjusts equipment and systems asnecessary to maintain optimal operating conditions.
