This position will conduct researchexperiments that test analgesics in mice using standard behavioralassessments and quantification of protein and RNA abundance in tissuesthat contain sensory neurons. Additionally, this role will have theopportunity to provide essential training and guidance to junior staff,students, and interns, contributing significantly to the advancement ofour research program. An overview of the program can be found atThis position is full or part-time, 50%-100% Thisposition requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campuswork location. Key Job Responsibilities: Operates, cleans, and maintainsorganization of research equipment and research area. Tracks inventorylevels and places replenishment orders Provides operational guidance onday-to-day activities of unit or program staff and/or student workersReviews, analyzes, and interprets data and/or documents results forpresentations and/or reporting to internal and external audiencesPerforms literature reviews and writes reports Conducts researchexperiments according to established research protocols with moderateimpact to the project(s).
