JOB REQUIREMENTS: Current Employees: If you are currently employed atany of the Universities of Wisconsin, log in to Jobs Hub to applythrough the internal application process.Job Category:AcademicStaffEmployment Type:RegularJob Profile:Teaching Faculty IIJob Summary:This position will deliver lectures and provide comprehensiveinstructional program support services for courses and labs in thePharmD, Pharmacology/Toxicology BS, and Pharmaceutical Sciences graduateprograms (approximately 50% effort) and serve as an integrated coursecoordinator (approximately 50% effort) for the integratedpharmacology-pharmacotherapy course series. The individual will beexpected to define, update, and deliver a high-quality curriculum usingbest practices in instructional design and delivery. Successfulcandidates will be expected to deliver content related to pharmacologywhile collaborating with other faculty across divisions in the School ofPharmacy to achieve instructional excellence in team-taught courses. Theindividual will also interpret test scores and meet with students toassess/assist course progress and to provide advice and guidance whenneeded. To achieve the above, it is expected that the individual willparticipate in meetings or programs to learn of opportunities to advanceinstruction and present ideas related to instructional programs internalor external to the School of Pharmacy. In some instances, it may benecessary to supervise, train, and evaluate teaching assistants (TAs).Hiring at the I or II level will depend on accomplishments andexperience including but not limited to; a strong record of teaching,classroom innovation, the design and execution of administrativefunctions associated with academic instruction and the development ofpedagogy/andragogy or assessment tools and resources to support qualitystudent learning.
