Overview: Weare seeking an Attorney to join our dynamic Energy Department withflexibility to work out of our Bismarck, Fargo, Des Moines, Madison, orMinneapolis offices, specializing in examination of title to realproperty. In this role you will work on a diverse range of oil and gasand renewable energy projects, with a focus on oil and gas titleexamination. You will be responsible for examining title records,determining ownership to surface, mineral, and leasehold interests innumerous tracts of land, researching and analyzing unique title issues,and drafting complex title opinions. Our firm's practice represents abroad spectrum of clients, including oil and gas operators, renewableenergy developers, independent power producers, independent transmissioncompanies, traditional utilities, and more. Candidates with oil and gasand/or real estate experience are encouraged to apply, and specificexperience with oil and gas title examination is a plus. While our idealcandidate would have 3-8 years of experience and a creditable/billablehours expectation between 1,600 - 1,775 hours, we are open toconsidering candidates with more experience and/or lower hoursexpectations.
